Two-Step Architectural Anodizing is the process of electrolytically coloring an anodized part by depositing metal ions under DC current. This process provides superior corrosion protection, UV stability, heat resistance, chemical resilience and cosmetics for exposure to harsh outdoor environments. FWA provides two-step anodize finishes in Clear and Black that conform to AAMA611-12 standards for commercial finishes. Providing superior fade resistance, FWA can process parts up to 21’6” long.
